About Piatra Neamt
Piatra Neamt is the administrative center for the Neamt County and it’s located on the valley of river Bistrita. The altitude is 310 m. The hills that surround the town are: Pietricica (590 m) to the south-east, Cozla (679 m) to the north, Cernegura (852 m) at south-west, Carloman (617 m) to north-west and Batca Doamnei (462 m) at south-west. Because of it’s architecture and its natural beauty the town Piatra Neamt is also called Perla Moldovei (The Precious Stone of Moldavia).
