TENIS CLUB 2000 – The Sever Dron Academy it took life from the association of two men passionate about tennis, Marian Sotae and Sever Dron, who have decided to combine their experience and their financial possibilities.

Marian Sotae has built one of the most beautiful sports facilities for practicing performance tennis and recreational tennis, in Bucharest.

TC 2000 was created in 1999 and in 2000 it was affiliated to the Romanian Tennis Federation.

Sever Dron is a member of the gold team of the Davis Cup between 1969 and 1972, among the well-known N?stase and ?iriac.

Established in France since 1972, he became a worldwide renowned coach. H. Leconte, J. Halard and V. Ruzici are only some of the famous players he has couched. 

On May 1st 2009 was created the ‘Tenis Club 2000 – Sever Dron Academy’. Its goal is to develop, for each player, the notion of a well-done thing, the respect for themselves and their opponent and the notion of self-improvement.

At the same time, here at the academy, our belief is that there is no border between a sports project and an educational project and two such projects complete and enhance each other.
