About BIGAR Waterfall
Bigar Izbuc (Izbuc Karst spring) is a powerful source (from which comes the term -“izbuc”) powered by an underground stream that runs through the cave with the same name from Anina Mountains. After about 200 m, the spring water (rich in limestone), runs into the Minis River on a rocky threshold, forming a cascade of calcareous tuff, named the Bigar Waterfall.
