It is not a myth when we say that the best food is to be found where its beginning was. It’s the place where the main elements were produced in order to be metamorphosed in culinary miracles. This is Sergiana’s policy, which has recently opened the doors of a restaurant in the historic centre of Sibiu, opposite Turnul Sfatului (Council Tower). A beautiful tradition which has its roots in Brasov and its “flavour” in Poiana Marului, where the meat coming from its own ranch is processed. It is fresh and most suitable for being deliciously prepared. 

The massive wooden design of the Sergiana restaurant makes the most of its Romanian cuisine, which is influenced by the Transylvanian one, Romanian, Saxon and Hungarian tradition. These different influences can be felt by the presence of a variety of well-defined dishes in the menu. The “courtyard” products, made in natural conditions intertwine with the forest’s savage ones, thus offering gourmand guests traditional delicious food and refined game. 

Perfume, flavours, tastes- a fairytale intertwining that appeals to everybody and challenges the senses of those who can appreciate the true Romanian both old and new  culinary values.
