Build in 1974 the hotel was given in use under the name of Cioplea Hotel and has created a tradition in the mountain tourism of Prahova Valley.

After years and years, keeping the same known standards, the hotel was renovated and reopened in 2003 with the same fame but with a new face and a new name: Belvedere.
